Vince Willis is a Managing Director at STS Capital Partners with over 35 years of experience as an entrepreneur, c-suite executive, advisor, and investor. His experience includes sourcing, negotiating, financing, and executing deals to enable successful exits through sales to strategic buyers. Vince is known for passionately and skillfully navigating critical inflection points, including distressed debt situations, having completed over 30 strategic transactions as a principal or advisor throughout his career.
Prior to STS, Vince served as COO of Infinite Blue, a leading provider of operational resilience software trusted by global enterprises, including four Fortune 10 companies. His extensive expertise spans sectors such as consumer package goods, information technology, medical devices, defense, commercial aviation, specialty foods, and construction, with notable contributions to companies such as Driveline Retail, Infinite Blue, Ritter Foods, Drexel Foods, and ER Stuebner.
Vince’s achievements include transforming Storecast Merchandising Company, a former Comcast division, from an unfiled bankruptcy with very poor prospects for restructuring into a thriving national business exceeding $100 million in revenue and employing over 10,000 people, ultimately successfully exiting. During his time at Storecast, he refinanced troubled debt, raised multiple rounds of debt and equity capital, completed seven strategic transactions, and generated over $1 billion in service program revenue with leading global consumer goods and retail brands, including Albertson’s, General Mills, Procter & Gamble and Walmart. His career has been defined by an innate ability to marshal resources quickly, analyze complex challenges, and deliver innovative solutions.
Vince is a Trusted Advisor, having trained with Charles Green, the creator of the Trust Quotient Indicator and author of Trust-Based Selling. His civic involvement includes leadership roles with Adopt-a-Pig, Malvern Prep, the University of Notre Dame, Ohio Wesleyan University, and the Young Presidents’ Organization.
Vince earned his MBA, with distinction, from Harvard University, his JD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, and his BBA with high honors from the University of Notre Dame. He is licensed as both a certified public accountant, having started his career at Deloitte, and an attorney by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (licenses currently inactive).
