Steve Slovick
Managing Director
Steve joins STS Capital Partners as a Managing Director with a long-standing career in the pharmaceutical industry. His distinguished 36-year career spans expertise in pricing, commercial launch strategy, business development, market access, and exit strategies within the life science sector.
Early in his career, Steve worked for major companies across the pharmaceutical industry holding positions as high as Senior Vice President before becoming President & Partner at PriceSpective, in the early 2000s. PriceSpective was a consulting firm that specialized in strategies to identify, capture, and communicate value for products, portfolios, and companies in the biopharmaceutical industry. In 2012, after successfully scaling and preparing the company for market, PriceSpective was acquired by ICON Plc., where Steve was an important part of the acquisition process unlocking the synergies between the two companies maximizing financial value.
After successfully exiting PriceSpective, his passion for the pharmaceutical industry remained. Steve founded Jupiter Life Science Consulting in 2015, where he served as CEO and Managing Partner. Jupiter was a leading provider of commercial and market access strategies for global pharma, biotech, and medical device companies. Steve led a dedicated team focused on addressing intricate market access, pricing, and reimbursement challenges faced by life science innovators. In 2022, Jupiter was acquired by Red Nucleus where he stayed on as Managing Partner and President MACS to provide trusted guidance and long-term partnership to life science clients worldwide by applying in-depth ingenuity coupled with domain knowledge to solve global and regional strategic and operational challenges.
Steve is a seasoned expert in guiding business owners through the journey of exiting their companies. Drawing from his firsthand experience of successfully orchestrating the sale of two ventures, he possesses a unique dual perspective – both as a former business owner and as a sell-side advisor. His understanding of the intricacies involved in preparing a business for market is unparalleled, allowing him to navigate the complexities of the M&A landscape and excel in post-acquisition management. His comprehensive approach encompasses every step of the exit process, making him a trusted ally for business owners seeking a successful exit strategy.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business, a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School.
