Sherry Orel is an accomplished business leader and CEO with over 30 years of experience driving innovation, growth, and strategy across Fortune 500 companies and emerging businesses. She has a proven track record of empowering leaders to achieve their full potential, particularly in guiding CEOs through exit processes to maximize value.
Sherry has collaborated with industry giants such as Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Nestle, Walmart, and Target, developing and executing long-term growth strategies, reorganizations, and M&A activity. Throughout her career, she has built and led organizations through organic growth, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions, overseeing businesses with combined revenues exceeding $1.5 billion. Sherry has facilitated over 25 add-on acquisitions and equity partnerships, totaling over $1 billion, during her tenures at Brand Connections, News Corporation, and Havas Worldwide.
Her leadership in the digital, technology, and marketing services sectors has resulted in multiple successful exits, with deal sizes ranging from $150 million to $500 million. Sherry also led a top 10 U.S. event marketing agency and managed a $50 million+ proprietary software platform project with Target, which was sold to a $5 billion strategic buyer. Additionally, she consulted on a $1.2 billion exit in the veterinary consolidation sector, securing an outcome nearly $500 million above the initial offer.
As the founder and CEO of Next Level Catapult, Sherry helps business leaders refine operations and prepare for leadership transitions, strategic shifts, and achieve Extraordinary Exits. She advises companies like Solv Wellness, TripKicks, Inkwell, and EBY and is an angel investor supporting ventures across various industries.
Sherry served on the Board of Directors for the Childhood Domestic Violence Organization and has held leadership roles in the Association of National Advertisers. As a YPO member, she has contributed to multiple chapters and forums, served on the NE Regional Board as the Gold D&I Officer, and is currently on the Board of the WBN.
Sherry attended Purdue University and Roosevelt University and has pursued a passion project at the Le Cordon Bleu Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago.
