DANIEL BESSMERT
Vice President
Daniel Bessmert is Vice President, Business Development at STS Capital Partners. He leads the firm’s Client Success Partner (CSP) team, helping strengthen relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, and trusted advisors while supporting the development of new opportunities across STS’s global network.
He has more than 20 years of experience helping companies scale, transform, and create enterprise value across financial services, payments, fintech, and technology. His career spans senior leadership roles with global organizations including PayPal, Visa, Citibank, and Euronet, where he led commercial growth initiatives, developed strategic partnerships, and supported expansion across international markets.
Daniel’s track record includes scaling businesses to more than $50 million in annual recurring revenue, helping drive commercial expansion that increased transaction volumes from $100 million to more than $1 billion, and delivering significant investor returns across multiple venture-backed companies. He has also established strategic partnerships with leading global organizations, including Mastercard, Santander, and Experian, to accelerate growth and strengthen market leadership.
In addition to his corporate leadership experience, Daniel is an accomplished entrepreneur, investor, and advisor. He has founded multiple venture-backed companies and successfully led businesses through growth, acquisition, and transformation. Having operated on both sides of the table, as an executive within global enterprises and as a founder building and exiting businesses, he offers business owners a practical understanding of growth, value creation, and strategic decision-making.
In his role, Daniel leverages this experience to strengthen STS’s business development efforts, expand the firm’s network of business owners and referral partners, and help identify opportunities aligned with STS’s mission of achieving extraordinary outcomes. His firsthand perspective enables him to connect authentically with founders, entrepreneurs, and advisors while supporting business owners as they prepare for significant growth and Extraordinary ExitsTM.
Daniel holds an MBA in International Business from the Stockholm School of Economics, a Diploma in Strategic Leadership from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management from The City University of New York.
