The Team That Makes Extraordinary Exits™ Possible

Steve Slovick

Managing Director

Steve is a Managing Director at STS Capital Partners with more than 35 years of leadership experience in the global life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors. A seasoned M&A professional and former industry executive, he spent over a decade with leading companies, gaining deep expertise in sales, marketing, lifecycle management, and corporate strategy. He has completed or advised on more than 30 transactions, many exceeding $1 billion in value, including company sales, product divestitures, and strategic acquisitions. Having also founded, scaled, and successfully sold two businesses, including one in a nine-figure transaction, Steve brings a distinctive dual perspective as both a business owner and sell-side advisor, enabling him to help clients realize maximum value from their exits.

Steve Slovick

Throughout his career, Steve has specialized in business development, valuation, commercialization strategy, and deal execution across the life sciences industry. He has led commercial and financial analyses to determine asset value, developed exit and positioning strategies for innovators, and guided leadership teams through every stage of the M&A process, from market preparation to negotiation and post-acquisition integration. His firsthand understanding of how major industry players evaluate and acquire assets gives his clients a strategic advantage when engaging with potential buyers.

In the early 2000s, he became Senior Vice President at Cambridge Pharma Consultancy, soon helping to divest the company to IMS Health. After successful integration, he became a Founder, President, and Partner at PriceSpective, a global consultancy specializing in pricing, market access, and value strategy for the biopharmaceutical industry. Under his leadership, PriceSpective grew into a globally recognized firm and was acquired in 2012 by ICON plc. Steve played an integral role in structuring and executing that transaction, realizing strong strategic and financial synergies between the two organizations.

Building on that success, Steve founded Jupiter Life Science Consulting in 2015, serving as CEO and Managing Partner. Jupiter became a trusted advisor to leading pharma, biotech, and medical device companies worldwide, providing commercial and market access strategies to address complex pricing, reimbursement, and launch challenges. In 2022, Jupiter was acquired by Red Nucleus, where Steve continued as President of Market Access & Commercial Strategy (MACS), leading global integration and ongoing client delivery.

Steve’s track record of both creating and realizing enterprise value as an entrepreneur, strategic consultant, and M&A advisor positions him as a trusted partner to life science founders and executives seeking to prepare their companies for sale and achieve Extraordinary Exits™.

Steve holds dual BS degrees in Marketing and International Business from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School.
