Prior to joining STS, Binayak held the position of economic analyst at the economic consulting subsidiary of a renowned global law firm specializing in M&A, securities litigation, and intellectual property (IP). In this role, Binayak’s responsibilities encompassed conducting comprehensive financial statement analyses, performing event studies, facilitating due diligence processes, and conducting valuations of various assets and intellectual properties. His work spanned diverse industries such as pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, metals, and mining, providing him with a broad understanding of the financial landscape across multiple sectors.

Outside of the finance industry, Binayak has been an active Board Member for GyroGear, a medical equipment manufacturing company that specializes in creating devices that mechanically stabilizes hand tremors.

Binayak pursued his education at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, where he earned an MBA with a specialized focus in finance and strategy. Additionally, Binayak distinguished himself during his undergraduate studies by graduating cum laude at The College of Wooster, further demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence.
