Aseema is a Director at STS Capital Partners. She is a results-driven M&A leader with over 20 years of experience across industries such as food, agriculture, consumer packaged goods, metals, and oil and gas. Her expertise lies in driving value creation and maximizing enterprise value through strategy, mergers, risk management, business development, process improvement, and project management.
Throughout her career, Aseema has held a variety of key leadership positions where she identified and executed lucrative opportunities for organizations, playing a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth and profitability.
As the former Director of Business Transformation and Corporate Development at Maple Leaf Foods, which is known as Canada’s leading consumer-packaged protein company, Aseema spearheaded several transformative initiatives for the business. She positioned the company for long-term success due to her strategic efforts.
Aseema combines her technical foundation with business acumen to excel in her field. Her educational background includes an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and she holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Toronto.
Additionally, Aseema holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, showcasing her expertise in financial analysis, investment management, and risk assessment.
