Managing Directors

Bill McCaig has elevated performance and maximized valuation for several businesses through marketing, operations event management, market research, media relations, and sales promotion. With a reputation for his skills and talents particularly in the service and hospitality industries, Bill is a proven leader who understands the components required to propel a company to success.

Bill established his early career by focusing on business development for Green Lane Environmental and Green Lane Landfill, which the McCaig family privately held. Bill started working at the business part-time and quickly outgrew his role to manage other service offerings that included manual labor, maintenance, trucking, retail sales, and wholesale sales. Bill was also involved with overseeing the exit process of the company, which resulted in a 28x EBIDTA sale.

Bill transitioned to the next chapter of his business career by founding and acting as president for several restaurant establishments, which included Vicino Pastaria & Deli, Nicli’s Next Door Trattoria, and Nicli Antica Pizzeria, for over a decade combined. Afterward, Bill proceeded to serve as the Director of RAM LP.

Bill currently serves at STS as a Managing Director, where he leverages his first-hand expertise as a family business member and his innate experience as an entrepreneur, to help guide private business owners and their families through the selling process so they can achieve their own Extraordinary Exit.

Bill holds a degree in marketing at Conestoga College, and a certification in French cuisine and pastries by Le Cordon Bleu.
